As you prepare for the 2018 NFL season with Fantasy Football in mind, you don’t want to be the person who drafts players that won’t even see the field. Essentially LineUpAllStar doesn’t want you drafting those players who were picked last in gym class (or on the practice field). It’s important and quite intuitive to know, the more time spent in the game will translate into greater fantasy production. We looked over the data and explored all options to see if there were any other additional things to keep in mind.
Please note this analysis was done to determine the correlation between Fantasy Point production and involvement into the game based on the snap metrics we had available. Looking over the data on a per game basis, Quarterbacks lead the league in all categories. The following chart looks over the average of each offensive position in relation to their involvement in the game.
No decisions should be made on this information alone since it doesn’t take into account certain things like which players are starting or coming off the bench.
Limiting the data to those players who log at least 10 snaps a game, we see some interesting changes in the data.
